Herbals are dangerous!!
Thought I would get your attention with this title. Actually herbals are wonderful products but should not be taken just willy nilly. There are chemical interactions within the body and possibly other products you are taking that you should know about. Here is an article that helps explain this and a free e-book to boot...
Natural Herbal Remedies-harmful effects and things to avoid
By: Michael Fortomas
Natural herbal remedies are good medicine. There is no doubt about that fact. What is so amazing about natural herbal remedies is their close association to our modern medicines. Most of our current “wonder drugs” have a botanical connection.
In recent years the issue of Alternative Healing has skyrocketed to the forefront of the medical field. A 2004 government survey concluded that more than one third of adults use alternative medicine and healing.
However, there are over 300,000 higher plant species. A good herbalist may know of one or two thousand of them. This means that even an experienced herbalist can make mistakes. Let’s take a look at some of the most common problems.
Pregnant women should avoid barberry root bark, cascara sagrada, feverfew, juniper berries, mugwort, pennyroyal, pokeroot, rue, senna, southernwood, tansy, thuja and wormwood. All of those herbs can increased a risk for miscarriage. Safe herbs during pregnancy would be Manna, Butternut Bark or Root, Flax Seed, Slippery Elm and Lemon Verbena.
No matter what herb(s) you are taking, be mindful of anything unexpected. Stop taking whatever it is and consult an expert you can trust.
Make certain you have the correct diagnosis. Diagnosis is not easy and sometimes doctors make mistakes. Generally, however, a doctor is much better equipped to diagnose. Discuss any planned herbal discipline you plan to undertake with your physician.
Watch for any allergic reactions. Even though you may have never had any allergies in the past, if you are embarking on an herbal journey, watch carefully for any adverse reactions. If you experience difficulty in breathing within 30 minutes of trying a new herb, food or drug, call 911 immediately! You may be having an anaphylactic reaction which is the most severe form of allergic reaction. This condition can quickly become fatal unless treated promptly. This reaction is rare, but you need to be careful and be aware.
Watch for any interactions. Medicines often interact negatively with one another. So do herbs. Always be careful when taking more than one drug or herb or a combination of both. If you suspect an interaction consult your physician or pharmacist.
One interaction that you should be aware of is Antidepressants known as monoamine oxidase (MAO) inhibitors. They interact badly with wine, cheese and many other foods. St. John’s Wort is also an MAO inhibitor so the same food restrictions apply. If you plan on using St. John’s Wort, discuss it with your physician or pharmacist.
Lastly, make certain that both your physician AND your herbalist are fully aware of all medications and/or herbal treatments you are using.
If you are sick and tired of being over-medicated, you can take control and start a journey toward natural herbal remedies with Michael's FREE ebook "47 Herbal Remedies"

10 Powerful Tips To Stop Smoking - #1 Breathe Deeply
By: Adam Eason
(Notice Adam's first Hint!)
Whether you are using Nicotine Replacement Therapy, Hypnosis or just Cold Turkey, these strategies and hints are for aiding you to stop smoking and are sure to assist you in helping your neurology change and thus enable you to stop smoking with ease. It is up to you to ensure that you do these things to really enhance what you are doing, the more effort you put into these exercises, the easier it is to stop smoking for good.
Powerful Stop Smoking Hint 1.
Being a smoker is like cycling with stabilisers attached to the wheels, you can find it hard to be balanced without smoking. Now, when you cycle freely again, the natural balance returns.
When people smoke, more than half of what they breathe is fresh air - pulled through the cigarette right down into the lungs. So if you feel any cravings you can instantly overcome them by taking three deeper breaths. Imagine breathing from that space just below your belly button. Whenever you do this you put more oxygen into your bloodstream. This means you can use deep breaths to change the way you feel instantly and give you power over the way you feel and help you let go of those old cravings and thus making it easier to stop smoking.
Powerful Stop Smoking Hint 2
Next, think now of all the reasons you don't like smoking, the reasons that it's bad and the reasons you want to stop smoking. Write down the key words on a piece of paper. For example, you experience breathlessness, it's dirty, filthy and your clothes smell, your friends and family are concerned and it's expensive, unsociable and so on. Then, on the other side of the paper, write down all the reasons why you'll feel good when you've succeeded in stopping. You'll feel healthier, you’ll feel in control of your self, your senses are enhanced, your hair and clothes will smell fresher and so on. Whenever you need to, look at that piece of paper.
Powerful Stop Smoking Hint 3
Next, we are going to programme your mind to feel disgusted by cigarettes. I want you recall 4 times when you thought to yourself "I've gotta quit", or that you felt disgusted about smoking. Maybe you just felt really unhealthy, or your doctor told you in a particular tone of voice 'You've got to quit' or somebody you know was badly affected by smoking. Take a moment now to come up with 4 different times that you felt that you have to quit or were disgusted by smoking.
Remember each of those times, one after another, as though they are happening now. I want you to keep going through those memories and make them as vivid as possible. The more vivid you make those memories, the easier it will be to stop smoking. See what you saw, hear what you heard and feel how you felt. I want you to take a few minutes now to keep going through those memories again and again, overlap each memory with the next until you are totally and utterly disgusted by cigarettes.
Powerful Stop Smoking Hint 4
Have a think to yourself about the consequences of you not stopping smoking now, if you just carry on and on. Imagine it, what will happen if you carry on smoking. What are the consequences? Imagine yourself in 6 months time, a years time, even 5 years time if you do not stop smoking now. Think of all the detrimental effects of not stopping right now and how a simple decision you make today can make such an impact on your future.
Next, imagine how much better is your life going to be when you stop smoking. Really imagine it's months from now and you successfully stopped. Smoking is a thing of the past, something you used to do. Keep that feeling with you and imagine having it tomorrow, and for the rest of next week. In your mind, imagine stepping in to that non-smoking version of you and feel how it feels to be a non-smoker.
Powerful Stop Smoking Hint 5
Also, your mind is very sensitive to associations, so it's very important that you have a clear out and remove all tobacco products from your environment. Move some of the furniture in your house and at work. Smokers are accustomed to smoking in certain situations. So, for example, if you used to smoke on the telephone at work move the phone to the other side of the desk. Throw away ashtrays, old lighters and anything that you used to associate with smoking. Make your environment conducive to stopping smoking.
Powerful Stop Smoking Hint 6
Smokers sometimes use their habit to give themselves little breaks during the day. Taking a break is good for you, so carry on taking that time off - but do something different. Walk round the block, have a cup of tea or drink of water, or do some of the techniques on this programme. In fact, if possible drink a lot of fruit juice. When you stop smoking the body goes through a big change. The blood sugar levels tend to fall, the digestion is slowed down and your body starts to eject the tar and poisons that have accumulated. Fresh fruit juice contains fructose which restores your blood sugar levels, vitamin C which helps clear out impurities and high levels of water and fibre to keep your digestion going. Also try to eat fruit every day for at least two weeks after you have stopped.
Also when you stop, cut your caffeine intake by half. Nicotine breaks down caffeine so without nicotine a little coffee will have a big effect. Drink 8-10 glasses of water (ideally bottled) to help wash out your system.
Powerful Stop Smoking Hint 7
You were used to using cigarettes to signal to your body to release happy chemicals, so next we are going to programme some good feelings into your future. Allow yourself to fully remember now a time when you felt very deep ecstasy, pleasure or bliss, right now. Take a moment to recall it as vividly as possible. Remember that time - see what you saw, hear what you heard and feel how good you felt. Where abouts in your body were those feelings, imagine turning them up and spreading them through your body to make them more intense.
Keep going through the memory, as soon as it finishes, go through it again and again, all the time squeezing your thumb and finger together. In your mind, make those images big and bright, sounds loud and harmonious and feelings strong and intensified. We are making an associational link between the squeeze of your fingers and that good feeling.
Okay, stop and relax. Now if you have done that correctly when you squeeze your thumb and finger together you should feel that good feeling again. Go ahead do that now, squeeze thumb and finger and remember that good feeling.
Now we're going to programme good feelings to happen automatically whenever you are in a situation where you used to smoke but now you stop smoking.
So, next I'd like you to squeeze your thumb and finger together, get that good feeling going and now imagine being in several situations where you would have smoked, but being there feeling great without a cigarette. See what you'll see hear and take that good feeling into those situations without a need for a cigarette.
Imagine being in a situation where someone offers you a cigarette and you confidently say 'No thanks, I don't smoke'. And feel fantastic about it!
Powerful Stop Smoking Hint 8
Get social support. Your commitment to stopping smoking for the rest of your life can be made much easier by talking about it to friends and family and letting them support you. They will congratulate you on doing so well too! You really did stop smoking.
Powerful Stop Smoking Hint 9
Be aware of making excuses for yourself. Some people talk themselves into smoking, especially if they encounter a stressful situation and in the past they used to deal with it by smoking. If those old thoughts pop into your head, shout the word “STOP” in your head, to stop the thoughts from progressing. Nicotine just stresses your body more and is like that itch that can never be properly scratched; the more you smoke, the more you have to. So say “STOP” and steer clear of old slippery slopes.
Powerful Stop Smoking Hint 10
Reward yourself. Congratulate yourself. Feel how good it feels to stop smoking and be a non-smoker. Treat yourself each time you get past a certain milestone; the first week or first month, the six month target. Let yourself know that you did something really special here.
Keep on using your brain, stretching it and helping your self, by running through these exercises time after time; you are sure to be able to make it easier and easier and successfully stop smoking for good.

People who suffer from chronic Psoriasis and Eczema are finding natural relief with skin care products made with Dead Sea minerals.
Personally I think I would rather use my wife's Mary Kay products than put something on my skin that is from something called Dead, but it is more natural so that is why it is here.
Skin ailments such as Psoriasis, Eczema, Acne and are a big concern for many people. Having healthy and attractive skin is becoming very important as more people are realizing that skin care is an important part of staying younger and looking attractive. At the same time those who are suffering from Psoriasis, Eczema or other ailments are discovering that often the only remedies their dermatologists recommend are steroid creams and other treatments which can have some negative side effects on the body.
Many people have started turning to Dead Sea products as a natural way to help relieve these skin ailments and to keep their skin looking and feeling healthy and smooth. Recently, ABC’s Good Morning America did a special on The Dead Sea and beauty and skin products made with Dead Sea minerals.
So what exactly is The Dead Sea why are skin care products made with the ingredients from the sea so effective? The Dead Sea is located in Israel and Jordan and is officially the saltiest body of water in the world. The sea contains over 32% salt content – compared to only 3% present in regular ocean water. Not only does The Dead Sea have a higher overall concentration of Dead Sea salt, but certain mineral elements such as Potassium, Magnesium, Calcium and Bromine are present in much higher quantities than in regular sea water. These Dead Sea minerals have been proven to be “essential” minerals which are vital to healthy skin function and appearance.
Many various skin care and cosmetics products are manufactured today on the shores of The Dead Sea – all using minerals and healthy ingredients extracted from Dead Sea mud and water. These product range from natural soap to moisturizers, to salt scrubs and more. Unique products such as the anti-cellulite seaweed soap and shea body butter have also gained popularity in the United States.
So what’s the good news for Psoriasis sufferers? A recent study demonstrates that using Dead Sea cosmetics, salt and mud helps ease Psoriasis symptoms. Fifty Psoriasis patients were gathered for a study in 1989 by Israli Dermatologist Dr. Zvi Even Paz. Dr. Paz studied the effect of using Dead Sea bath salts on these patients. Although it was long known that bathing in The Dead Sea would bring about temporary relief from this incurable condition, it was not known whether bathing in Dead Sea bath salts anywhere would produce the same results. For forty seven of the fifty Psoriasis patients tested significant relief and skin improvements were achieved. Maximum improvement was found when patients used two pounds per bath, three times a week over a period of six weeks.
Dead Sea skin care products have also been found effective at reducing wrinkles and signs of skin aging. According to Israeli chemist Dr. Uzi Reiss, “Our skin cells need Sodium and Potassium for their membrane transport systems. Dead Sea compounds may be the best way of insuring that our skin cells maintain proper moisture and mineral levels. This is the best natural line of defense against the dermal breakdown that causes aging and wrinkles.”
For those without a PhD in chemistry, Dead Sea products are simply a natural way to keep the face and skin looking young and smooth. As natural skin care treatments gain more and more popularity among people who don’t like to put pharmaceutical chemicals on their skin – Dead Sea skin care is emerging as the leader of natural skin care products.
“You are seeing natural skin care becoming the mainstream popular consumer product – just like botox and surgical treatments were all the rage of the nineties” says John Mayer – the head of product development at Cleopatra’s Choice Dead Sea Products – “Many people are realizing that there are natural alternatives to achieving the look they want and Dead Sea mineral skin care is becoming a large part of that”
Indeed [bath salts, mud masks and salt scrubs have been around for years, but it’s that special ingredient of essential Dead Sea minerals that is the reason why skin care enthusiasts are falling in love with Dead Sea cosmetics.

Another free breathing exercise
Here's a good one to help increase your lung capacity and your ability to hold your breath!
Take a deep breath in
Let out half the air and immediately a deep breath again.
Let out half the air and immediately a deep breath again.
Do this three to four times to start. Be very careful as many times this will make you light headed.
So do not do this while driving and some of you should not do this while standing.

Pacing Breathing - Create Powerful Rapport
By Kenrick Cleveland
First off - what's the difference between pacing, matching and mirroring?
Pacing is talking about or doing things that are verifiably true in the person’s ongoing experience. Pacing is the global action - the totality and it encompasses matching, mirroring, rhythm, speed, and/ or tonality... etc.
Mirroring is simply - if I move my right hand, you're going to move your left hand. If I scratch with my left arm, you scratch with your right arm.
Matching is: If I raise my left hand, you raise your left hand. You match the movements with your same hand. Mirroring and matching are a subset of pacing. Pacing is a meta level above, so to speak.
What are the actions that are the best to pace?
Breathing! This is one of the most powerful things to pace and it's very easy to do, especially if you are talking to someone. The small complication is that while you are talking you have to get the rhythm of all this down. You're talking, I’m paying attention to your talking, I’m talking, and now I’m going to try to pace your breathing too. That's quite a bit to add because talking is so unconscious.
You have to get comfortable with this and with some practice and experience - you can! Here's a little trick for you. If I'm talking am I breathing in or out? If I'm talking, I'm breathing out!
So right now take your hand and put it out in front of you, like good trance subjects... very good! As you read this imagine that, "I'm talking and I want you to lower your hand slightly, just lower it a bit, good now I take a breath... ( and up comes your hand) and I start to talk again and your hand begins to move down again just as I speak." So find someone and as they talk, follow along with your hands - you can use the TV or radio for this as well. Just practice this - you will discover that when someone stops talking, mostly they are getting a breath.
It's not that hard. Really, getting to understand someone's breathing is not all that hard. It is one of the most profound things to pace.
We can also pace facial expressions. This is a really big thing to be able to pace. If they're smiling and your smiling, guess what? You're both smiling. Whatever it is they're doing facially, you're going to do it as well. Most people are not very aware of their facial expressions. So that is something that I've found very useful to pace.
We're training the unconscious mind. We're training it to be able to see what the other person is doing and to be able to lock onto that very quickly to use it to our advantage.
Kenrick E. Cleveland - is the "Top Secret - Goto Guy" for persuasion training for over 27 years. Check out MaxPersuasion Tips and get serious persuasion tips every 2 weeks - increase your power to persuade and put money in your pocket. Lots of it! http://www.maxpersuasion.com/
